WELCOME TO PETER PAN!

THE CLASSROOM

Peter Pan Preschool provides a very warm and inviting atmosphere that fosters creativity and inspiration for everyone who walks through the doors. The front room of the classroom features the check-in station and cubbies for the children. The main room features various play areas, a science station, blocks area, dolls, kitchens, trains, and more! We converge on the floor for circle time under the tree, and paint, do math, and learn at the classroom tables throughout the day.

OUTSIDE PLAY AREA

The outside play area at Peter Pan is one of the reasons that makes the school so special. The long driveway provides children with a safe & enclosed space to ride bikes, trikes, and stryders.  The large lawn is where the kids run, play soccer, stretch, and play tag. The cottonwood trees that line the lawn provide some great shade, which is needed throughout the summer months. There are various play structures including small houses, kitchens, and a sandbox large enough for the entire class!

SECRET GARDEN & GOLDIE THE CHICKEN

Two of the hidden gems that Peter Pan provides is the Secret Garden & Goldie the Chicken.

The Secret Garden is a private area where children learn the science of horticulture first-hand! The class plants seeds in early spring that grow into tomatoes, peppers, tomatillos, and other vegetables throughout the summer and fall months. The children are responsible for tasks like watering the plants and harvesting the fruit when ready!

Goldie the Chicken and her friends are a staple figure at Peter Pan Preschool! The chickens and their coup provides an outdoor learning experience where the kids can get up close and personal with the birds, building a connection and responsibility to take care of the chick loved by all!
