About Us

OUR PHILOSOPHY

At Peter Pan y Sus Amigos Preschool, we aim to provide a positive, safe and nurturing environment that empowers your child to learn through exploration, creative play, and self-expression. Our bilingual English-Spanish curriculum will allow your child to gain comfort and confidence in both languages, while being exposed to multiple cultures through our daily activities.

Each day is filled with play, outdoors, art, music, manipulatives, a variety of sensory activities, reading and writing. Our daily schedule provides the kids with a familiar routine that fosters structure and predictability throughout the day, while allowing them to be independent and creative at the same time.

We understand that each child is different, and we pride ourselves on providing personalized attention and curriculum based on their specific needs. Your child will get the attention they deserve, while having room to explore and be adventurous on their own.

We are located in Rifle, CO and offer care for children ages 3-7 years of age.

MR. JUAN

Preschool Director

Mr. Juan is the founder and director of Peter Pan y Sus Amigos Preschool, opening the school in Summer of 2019. He has over 20 years experience in early childhood and elementary education, having worked in both Mexico and the USA in various teaching roles. Prior to opening Peter Pan y Sus Amigos, Mr. Juan worked at Honey Trees Preschool in Carbondale, and as an Elementary School Teacher in Mexico.

Juan feels like every day is a gift to him because of his opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of his students. His goals are to create a safe and fun environment for children to learn and play simultaneously, while learning about themselves and the world around them through daily activities.

When not working, Mr. Juan enjoys martial arts, running, the outdoors, gardening, and loves to read. The most important thing to Juan is his beloved wife Maria and three children.
